How The 2018 Aston Martin Vantage is Revolutionary for the Brand | The Newbie Car - Flamboyance GT
Expectations, anticipation and excitement. The feelings when a new car is born. We have a newbie here. This time, its a more than that. A new era has been born for Aston Martin. Class, style and elegance would be the words to use when describing the beautiful machines handbuilt by Aston Martin in England. But now, Aston Martin have created a revolution. A hooligan has been born. A rather interesting one at that.
The launch of the DB11 started this. It replaced the massive grand touring V12s that were silky smooth and gradual in terms of power delivery with a new V12 that is more exciting and revvy. The entry of Mercedes AMG was marked with the AMG v8 in the DB11 V8. And now, we behold the Vantage. This clearly is a huge style newcomer for Aston Martin. From my point of view, this car seeks inspiration from the likes of the DB10, the Vulcan and a little hint of the Jaguar F Type in terms of design. History seems to be mildly repeating itself here like the DB7.
When this car is pictured, it seems to always leave the visual impression of a limited edition track burning monster. Speaking of which, the new AMG V8 would properly suit this car. The most interesting aspect is that Aston Martin may introduce a manual transmission as an option. It would beautifully compliment the 4 litre 503 horsepower biturbo AMG V8. After all, this car looks rather fun. This would definitely set itself apart from the previous gen V8 Vantage which faithfully served the purpose of being an entry level Aston Martin. The car will certainly have some design changes when released, but it seems that the future does hold some rather interesting prospects. Only time will tell.
